More than 50 local eateries will come together to celebrate Burlington County’s annual Restaurant Week.

Scheduled to run Aug. 2–8, the promotion will feature special menus, discounts and signature dishes from restaurants, taverns, breweries, distilleries, wineries and food trucks in the region.

Now in its sixth year, the countywide promotion was conceived by Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson as a way to spotlight local cuisine.

After noting its status as “one of the first economic development initiatives” established by the board, Hopson said, “It has rapidly grown to become one of the most popular of its kind in the entire region.”

“More than 100 restaurants and eateries from across the county participated last year and we’re already hearing from some excited about this year’s edition. We’re proud of its success and we’re looking forward to making 2026 our biggest Restaurant Week yet,” she said.

Event sponsors include the Burlington County Commissioners; state Sen. Troy Singleton, D-7th District; and the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce. During the weeklong campaign, the partners will help highlight participating businesses by making visits and posting about it on social media.

‘Economic development engines’

Singleton shared, “In every corner of Burlington County, you can find incredible restaurants, cafes, and breweries, many of which are family owned. The owners and employees are our neighbors, friends and family members, and they deserve our support. Restaurant Week is an opportunity not only to celebrate outstanding food and unique experiences these establishments provide, but also the vital role they play in strengthening our local downtowns and economy.”

Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kristi Howell said the initiative helps support one of the county’s most important business sectors.

According to the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Burlington County’s restaurant and food-service industry includes 936 businesses that employ nearly 15,000 workers. In 2022, the sector generated more than $1.1 billion in sales, U.S. Census data shows.
