Singleton Celebrating His Own Big Day with "Birthday Cake Kit" Collection Drive for Kids in Need
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Senator Troy Singleton is using his birthday to make sure that area children in need have their own special day.
In celebration of his birthday in June, Singleton is hosting a “Birthday Cake Kit" collection drive in which community members can donate birthday cake supplies. The drive will support Generation Family Success Center’s Birthday Program, which provides free birthday kits to families in need so every child can feel celebrated on their birthday. The Birthday Program offers party kits at no cost to local families, ensuring that children can experience the simple joy of a birthday celebration, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
“To this day, I still remember the cake my mom would bake for me on my birthday. Every child deserves to feel celebrated and special on their birthday,” said Senator Singleton. “This month, we’re coming together to make that possible for families in need across our community, and I’m inviting everyone to join us in spreading some birthday cheer.”
Donations of the following items are requested:
- Boxed cake mix
- Frosting cans or mixes
- Birthday candles
- Party decorations
- Disposable cake tins
- Balloons
Donations will be accepted at Senator Singleton's District Office, located at 400 North Church Street, Suite 260, in Moorestown, in the designated bin in the lobby of the building. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM, now through June 30.
