Addressing The Rent Crisis Head-On
Rents across New Jersey are rising faster than families can keep up with. Last week, as Chairman of the Community & Urban Affairs Committee, we advanced a package of bills to make rent more affordable, strengthen tenant protections, and provide tax relief for renters.
Read Across LD7!
Last week, in honor of Read Across America Week and Dr. Suess’ birthday, I visited schools throughout our legislative district to share my love of reading with students of all ages. This is one of my favorite weeks of the year, and hope it inspired my youngest bosses to open up a book and read!
Donate Unwanted Books!
My legislative colleagues and I are collecting new and gently used children’s books throughout the month of March in honor of Dr. Suess’ Birthday and National Reading Month. Donations will be given to BookSmiles, a local organization that seeks to “irrigate book deserts” by building personal libraries for kids and classrooms in need. Anyone interested in donating books can drop them off Mon-Fri, from 9am to 5pm at our office located at 400 North Church Street, Suite 260 in Moorestown. A donation bin is in the lobby of the building. See below for more info and additional drop off sites!

Black History Month
This Black History Month, we should reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who paved the way, and those whose shoulders we stand upon, so future generations can dream bigger and go further.
Minnesota Is Hurting

In just a few short weeks, families have buried loved ones, communities have been shaken, and trust has been strained by a series of deeply troubling events. These moments demand more than talking points. They demand leadership rooted in empathy, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
