"Serve With Singleton" at Community Options in Mt. Laurel Next Month
Senator seeks 25 volunteers for interior painting
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — Senator Troy Singleton will be hosting his monthly "Serve With Singleton" community service event next month for a special cause.
As July is Disability Pride Month, Singleton will be holding next month's event at the Community Options residences in Mount Laurel.
The day of service will take place on Saturday, July 8 from 10AM to 12PM at Community Options, located at 205A Harwood Court in Mount Laurel.
In commemoration of both Disability Pride Month and the 33rd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, July's "Serve With Singleton" event seeks to empower those living with developmental disabilities by having volunteers paint the interiors of two Community Options residences, which are located in the same development. Materials including paintbrushes, paint, drop cloths and tape will be provided to volunteers.
Singleton is seeking 25 volunteers for the project. To register, visit Singleton's website HERE.
