Memorial Day Weekend

While Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial start of summer, please find a moment over the next few days to remember the selfless sacrifice and bravery exhibited by so many in service to our nation. For generations, American men and women have lost their lives on foreign and domestic battlefields to preserve the rights and freedoms that we enjoy today. While their ultimate sacrifice is never forgotten, Memorial Day weekend allows us the opportunity to honor their memory. I will do just that at ceremonies tonight and over the weekend, and I hope you will reflect on the true meaning of this day, too.

Business Assistance Event Coming to BurlCo!

I am proud to partner with the New Jersey Business Action Center to host a Small Business Assistance event on Friday May 31st from 8-11am at RCBC in Mount Laurel where business owners (or prospective entrepreneurs) can learn more about how to start or grow a business and obtain access to programs. Free breakfast will be provided, but seats are limited so attendees must RSVP here.

Supporting Diverse Opportunities For All New Jerseyans

This month, we have celebrated Black History Month to recognize past accomplishments of African Americans with an eye to the future. However, our goal for a more fair, equitable and all-encompassing society is to broaden the goal to all marginalized minorities or groups that society has ignored or closed out.
