Allen and Singleton honored by Arc of New Jersey
The Arc of New Jersey, an advocacy organization for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has given two Burlington County politicians Legislator of the Year honors for 2013.
State Sen. Diane Allen, R-7th of Edgewater Park, and Assemblyman Troy Singleton, D-7th of Palmyra, were honored Tuesday during an awards celebration at the Imperia on Easton in Franklin, Somerset County.
“It is a true honor to be recognized by an organization like The Arc of New Jersey, which has done so much in its own right to advocate for those with disabilities,” Allen said.
The Arc of New Jersey is headquartered in North Brunswick, Middlesex County.
