Building Workforce Opportunities and Workforce Housing

As a legislator, I have always believed that economic opportunity and stable housing are the foundation of strong communities.

That’s why I’ve made workforce development and housing affordability a top priority, working to expand workforce housing initiatives, increase tax incentives for first-time homebuyers, and advocate for property tax exemptions that encourage affordable housing development. By collaborating with local businesses and policymakers, I’m committed to making New Jersey a place where working families can thrive and build a better future.

But creating opportunity isn’t just about housing—it’s about ensuring people have access to the education and training they need to succeed. I’ve fought to invest in vocational training, apprenticeships, and partnerships between schools and businesses to align education with workforce demands. From expanding community college programs, to launching the VETeach Pilot Program for veterans, and advocating for portable benefits for independent workers, my focus remains on equipping New Jerseyans with the skills and support they need to secure good-paying jobs and long-term success.

At the core of my work is a simple belief: when we invest in people—when we make housing affordable, strengthen our workforce, and support small businesses—we create stronger, more resilient communities. I am proud to champion policies that lift up working families and drive economic growth. Together, we can build a New Jersey where opportunity isn’t just a promise—it’s a reality for everyone.
