Burlington County Restaurant Week returns this August
Burlington County Restaurant Week is set to return Aug. 2-8 for its sixth year.
Dozens of participating restaurants, taverns, breweries, distilleries, wineries and food trucks are slated to take part in the weeklong event, which showcases the standout drinks, food, desserts and appetizers served in the county.
The businesses offer discounts, specials and create special menus and signature dishes for patrons during the week
What happens for Burlington County Restaurant Week?
Throughout the week, the Burlington County commissioners, state Sen. Troy Singleton, D-Burlington, and the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce highlight participating establishments. They visit and post spotlights about them on social media, a press release from county officials said.
“Restaurant Week was one of the first economic development initiatives our board created in 2019, and it has rapidly grown to become one of the most popular of its kind in the entire region,” Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson said in the release.
“More than 100 restaurants and eateries from across the county participated last year and we’re already hearing from some excited about this year’s edition. We’re proud of its success and we’re looking forward to making 2026 our biggest restaurant week yet.”
‘Proven economic development engines’
There's no charge for the businesses to participate, but the establishments are asked to create a special dish, menu, discount or similar promotion of their choosing for the week.
Kristi Howell, Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, said restaurant week offers a means to support an important business sector in the area.
“Restaurants are proven economic development engines,” Howell said in the press release. “They not only create jobs and support nearby suppliers, they strengthen neighborhoods and bring people to downtowns and commercial districts.”
Added Singleton: “In every corner of Burlington County, you can find incredible restaurants, cafes, and breweries, many of which are family-owned."

Restaurant week is an opportunity not only to celebrate outstanding food and unique experiences these establishments provide, but also the vital role they play in strengthening our local downtowns and economy.”
