Burlington County Toys for Tots Seeks New, Unwrapped Toys
Donations can be dropped off at distribution site on Nixon Drive
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — Help give Burlington County children in need a great holiday by donating to the Burlington County Toys for Tots program.
The annual program will serve 58,000 kids, but it needs the community's help. According to State Senator Troy Singleton, who is driving donations through social media, Toys tor Tots desperately needs new and unwrapped toys for children ages 6 through 12.
Toys can be dropped off at the Toys for Tots distribution site, located at 1100 Nixon Drive in Mount Laurel — near ShopRite and next to Concord Pet. The distribution site is open 7 days a week from 10AM to 3PM for drop-offs.
In addition to toy donations, volunteers are currently needed at the Nixon Drive distribution site to stock toys on shelves. Those interested in volunteering their time can e-mail Gina at [email protected] for more information.
Lunches to feed Marines are also needed. Local restaurants or eateries who would like to donate 10 lunches per day to help feed the Marines on-site who are assisting with the toy drive should e-mail [email protected]
