The first week of the new year is a very busy one, one that is filled with ceremonious reorganization meetings throughout the State, as well as here in Burlington County. It is a time when elected officials raise their right hand and take the oath, promising to “faithfully, impartially, and justly” perform the duties of their office.

I had the honor of administering the oath to many of my friends here in Legislative District 7 and beyond including, Westampton, Edgewater Park, Delanco, Delran, Mount Laurel, Bordentown Twp, Riverside, Moorestown, Burlington County, and Florence.

I remain in awe of the peaceful transitions of power that take place each year, and of the incredible public servants who step up to represent and work on behalf of their communities.
