Fieldsboro Street, Utility Upgrades Funded Under $250K State Budget Allocation

State Lawmakers secure funding for local improvements

FIELDSBORO, NJ — Residents of Fieldsboro will soon see improvements on their roadways and on their utility system thanks to funding from the state budget secured by State Senator Troy Singleton and Assembly members Herb Conaway and Carol Murphy.

The lawmakers, who represent parts of Burlington County, filed a "budget resolution" which secured $250,000 for Fieldsboro to make necessary improvements to the community.

"The $250,000 we secured in the state budget for critical street and water meter upgrades in this small community will be used to address erosion, pave Union Street, and upgrade water meter infrastructure,” said Singleton, who met with Mayor David Hansell and Councilman Tim Tyler last month to highlight this investment.

Singleton, Conaway and Murphy represent Fieldsboro as well as 16 other towns in Burlington County in the 7th Legislative District.
