GPA Hosts Assemblyman Troy Singleton

“It was a real honor to welcome the Assemblyman to Garfield Park Academy,” said Dr. Steven Morse, Superintendent. “Assemblyman Singleton represents Willingboro and the surrounding communities, so we were delighted to show him our program and introduce him to our work.”

Garfield Park Academy is a state-approved private, not for profit school that provides effective, evidence-based special education services for more than 150 students in grades K-12 who have a history of learning, social, emotional and behavioral challenges. Students are placed at the school by their local school districts, and attend at no cost to parents.

“While he was here, the Assemblyman got to see our mission in action. It was an honor to show someone of such distinction that our students can be successful in life, when provided the services and supports they need to achieve,” added Morse.
