Giving our veterans a country worthy of their sacrifice is the message I shared at Bordentown Township’s Veterans Day Ceremony and at the Armed Forces Heritage Museum’s Annual Dinner this past weekend. 

Veterans Day is not just about saying "thank you for your service" though we should say it often and mean it truly and deeply.

It's about recognizing that our veterans put on a uniform, left loved ones behind, and placed themselves in harm's way for all of us.
