Humbled and Honored

I am truly humbled and honored to have recently received three awards that mean a great deal to me -- the New Jersey State Veterans Chamber of Commerce State Lawmaker of the Year Award, the Senator Ronald L. Rice Impact Award at the 2026 Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development, and ACCSES NJ’s Advocacy Champion Award at their 2026 STAR Conference.

While I am grateful for each recognition, what means even more is what these awards represent - the opportunity to serve people and communities that deserve to be heard, supported, and advocated for. Whether it is standing with and supporting our veterans, working to expand housing opportunities, or fighting for greater inclusion for people with disabilities, I am reminded every day that public service is a privilege. I am deeply grateful to everyone who allows me to do this work and who continues to inspire our advocacy.
