NTSB to issue report in fatal NJ Transit River Line crash next month
The National Transportation Safety Board expects to issue a preliminary report early next month on the NJ Transit light rail crash that killed the train operator and injured 23 people.
The update comes as state Sen. Troy Singleton, D-Burlington, plans to hold a town hall meeting about the River Line with NJ Transit officials and riders in Palmyra on Tuesday evening.
The NTSB is leading the investigation into the Oct. 14 crash of a River Line train with a large tree trunk that fell on the rails in Florence.
