Sen. Singleton Collecting Feminine Products to Combat "Period Poverty"

Donations will be made available to Burlington County women in need

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The office of State Senator Troy Singleton is helping to combat "period poverty" by hosting a feminine hygiene products drive.

"Period poverty" refers to the fact that women and girls who are living in poverty are not always able to afford menstruation products, and may miss school and work as a result.

Senator Singleton's office is collecting feminine hygiene products — pads, tampons and liners — that will be made available to Burlington County women in need.

Donations are being collected now through Friday, February 10 at Senator Singleton's District Office, located at 400 North Church Street, Ste. 260, in Moorestown. The office is open Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM.
