“Community service is at the heart of what we do, and our ‘Serve with Senator Singleton' events allow us to make a tangible, positive impact on communities throughout Burlington County. In April, we are looking forward to joining volunteers to help clean up the shoreline of Pompeston Creek and the Delaware River to celebrate the spirit of Earth Day through action,” said Singleton in a statement.
According to the New Jersey Senate Democrats, the cleanup event will be Sen. Troy Singleton's 84th total community service event. Since these events began in 2018, volunteers have contributed more than 3,300 hours to cleanups, animal welfare efforts, drives, and painting projects.
