Senator Singleton Seeks Volunteers to Help with Fall Clean-Up at Rancocas Woods

MOORESTOWN – In honor of November being National Entrepreneur Month, State Senator Troy Singleton is partnering with the Rancocas Woods Business Association to host a fall clean-up for his monthly “Serve with Senator Singleton” event. The event will take place on Saturday, November 2nd from 10am to 12pm at Rancocas Woods, Creek Road in Mount Laurel.

The Senator is seeking 20 volunteers to help clean-up “The Woods.” Volunteers will be asked to assist with refreshing the property by raking leaves, picking up trash, planting flowers, and spreading mulch. Volunteers will meet outside of Thyme Travelers Conservatory, 200 Creek Road, Unit C, Mt. Laurel. RSVP here: https://www.troysingleton.com/rancocaswoods

“Rancocas Woods has quickly become Mount Laurel’s very own downtown, and the micro and small businesses that have helped this area flourish are worthy of our assistance,” said Senator Singleton. “By helping clean-up the outdoor area around these businesses, we will help these entrepreneurs get ready for the upcoming holiday season which will not only bring shoppers, but many visitors for the community events hosted here.”

The event at “The Woods” will be the Senator’s 67th “Serve with Senator Singleton” event since becoming State Senator in 2018. Each month, Senator Singleton crowd-sources a team of volunteers to help with a particular community service project. Previous volunteer efforts include: indoor and outdoor clean-up days, animal welfare projects, clothing and supply drives, painting projects, gleaning efforts, and community event set-up and staffing. To date, more than 2,500 hours have been donated by volunteers to local community service projects.
