For our July “Serve with Senator Singleton” event, we will be partnering with the Shipman Mansion Foundation to help clean up the property around the historic Mansion on Saturday, July 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Senator is seeking volunteers to help clean-up the site with tasks such as removing debris and weeds around the Guest Cottage, litter collection along the riverbanks, mulching, and more. Volunteers should bring their own work gloves.

The Shipman Mansion Foundation is dedicated to the research and preservation of the architectural, maritime, and cultural history of the Shipman Mansion for the purpose of sharing with, and enhancing the community’s understanding of the diverse history of the area.
