Serve with Senator Singleton at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore

For the past four years, I have joined with volunteers to serve and build stronger communities through monthly community service projects with local organizations. Inspired by the Day of Service that is honored on Dr. Martin Luther King’s Day, our monthly “Serve with Senator Singleton” events have brought people of different backgrounds and ages together to serve for a common purpose – the community.

For our January service event, we will once again partner with Habitat for Humanity of Burlington and Mercer Counties to help support their ReStore. Volunteers will be asked to help move furniture, paint, and assist with other tasks. This event will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The ReStore is Habitat for Humanity’s home improvement store open to the public that offers new and used items for 50-90% off the retail price. Proceeds from the store go back to the construction of affordable houses in our own community.

Space is limited to 40 volunteers (age 15 or older), so RSVP today!
