Singleton, Rancocas Woods Business Assoc. Seek Volunteers for Fall Clean-Up Event
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — State Senator Troy Singleton and the Rancocas Woods Business Association are partnering up for a community service event early next month in honor of National Entrepreneur Month.
Singleton and the Association will be hosting a Fall-Clean Up of “The Woods” on Saturday, November 2 from 10AM to 12PM.
The clean-up will be Singleton's 67th “Serve with Senator Singleton” event, a monthly project in which he crowd-sources a team of volunteers to help with a particular community service project. More than 2,500 hours have been donated by volunteers through the events.
Singleton and the Association are seeking 20 volunteers to help clean-up “The Woods.” Volunteers will be asked to assist with refreshing the property by raking leaves, picking up trash, planting flowers, and spreading mulch. Volunteers will meet outside of Thyme Travelers Conservatory, located at 200 Creek Road, Unit C, in Mount Laurel.
“Rancocas Woods has quickly become Mount Laurel’s very own downtown, and the micro and small businesses that have helped this area flourish are worthy of our assistance,” said Senator Singleton. “By helping clean-up the outdoor area around these businesses, we will help these entrepreneurs get ready for the upcoming holiday season which will not only bring shoppers, but many visitors for the community events hosted here.”
