So many families struggle with food insecurity - especially in the summer months.

Senator Troy Singleton's Summer Lunch Program handed out 250 lunches to local community members in Florence and Beverly, part of a summer long initiative that began during COVID.

"If we can provide them at least one meal out of the day," says Singleton, "We're doing our best service."
