Singleton Seeks Volunteers for Community Service Project at Burlington County Animal Shelter
WESTAMPTON, NJ — Senator Troy Singleton is seeking volunteers for his September monthly community service event taking place at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.
The “Serve With Senator Singleton” community service day project is happening on Saturday, September 13 from 10AM to 12PM at the Burlington County Animal Shelter, located at 35 Academy Drive in Westampton.
Volunteers will be joining Singleton to perform a variety of tasks, including preparing food, washing laundry, dishwashing, sorting donations, cleaning windows and doors, scooping outside for debris, restocking, and creating profile cards for the animals.
“Over the past eight years, we have spent over 3,000 hours volunteering our time on a wide array of service projects throughout our local communities,” said Senator Singleton. “Whether we are helping people or pets, our volunteers demonstrate compassion and concern for the organizations we are serving and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to partner once again with the Burlington County Animal Shelter.”
