Governor Murphy Signs Legislation Promoting Transparency On The New Jersey Drug Utilization Review Board
TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy today signed legislation (A-277/S-2035) that requires public members of the New Jersey Drug Utilization Review Board to submit disclosures of financial interests and involvement in pharmaceutical distributors, manufacturers, or benefits managers. The bill continues the Murphy Administration’s efforts to promote transparency and integrity in health care.
Singleton, Pou Bill To Provide Prescription Drug Savings To Consumers Advances
Trenton – As part of a continued effort to reduce prescription drug costs, the Senate Budget Committee advanced legislation today sponsored by Senator Troy Singleton and Senator Nellie Pou which would require carriers to pass on prescription drug savings to consumers.
NJMVC Offers Knowledge Test Appointments At Rowan College At Burlington County On Oct. 23
TRENTON – The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission today announced it will be offering a limited number of driver knowledge tests by appointment at Rowan College at Burlington County on Saturday, Oct. 23. This initiative is an expansion of the pilot program that began at Passaic County Community College on Sept. 25, when the NJMVC first offered knowledge tests off-site.

Governor Murphy Signs Legislation Establishing School and Small Business Energy Efficiency Stimulus Program Fund
TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy today signed legislation (S-3995) that establishes a fund administered by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) which will provide grants to schools and small businesses for the assessment, repair, upgrading, and replacement of HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures and appliances that fail to meet efficiency and health standards. The program is backed by $180 million in American Rescue Plan funds appropriated in the FY 2022 Appropriations Act.
