Singleton Legislation to Establish Pilot Program to Respond to Potential Opioid Overdoses on River Line Clears Committee
TRENTON – Aiming to ensure preparedness in the event of an opioid overdose, the Senate Transportation Committee advanced legislation sponsored by Senator Troy Singleton that would establish a pilot program to provide opioid antidotes on the River Line for the purpose of responding to opioid overdoses.
Singleton Bill to Require Annual Report on Underutilized State-Owned Property Advances
TRENTON – In an effort to better utilize state-owned land, the Senate Community and Urban Affairs Committee advanced legislation sponsored by Senator Troy Singleton that would require the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury to develop an inventory of all underutilized real property owned by an agency, authority, or other instrumentality of the state, analyze the feasibility of using that property for other uses, and issue an annual report including the inventory and the aforementioned analysis.
Singleton Seeking Volunteers for Community Service Project in Moorestown
MOORESTOWN - Senator Troy Singleton will partner with the Moorestown Rotary Lunch Club for a park beautification event. This monthly “Serve with Senator Singleton” community service event will be held at the Frank Fullerton Memorial Park, corner of Zelley Ave. and Linden St., Moorestown, on Saturday May 10th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Senator Singleton, Volunteers to Clean-Up Florence in Honor of Earth Day
MOORESTOWN - In honor of Earth Day, State Senator Troy Singleton is partnering with Florence Township’s Environment Commission to host a community clean-up for his April “Serve with Senator Singleton” event. The event will take place on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and volunteers will meet at Foundry and West 3rd Streets in Florence.
Singleton, Zwicker Legislation to Preserve Family Wealth and Protect Inheritors of Property Passes
TRENTON – Aiming to better preserve family wealth passed on in the form of real property, the Senate advanced legislation sponsored by Senators Troy Singleton and Andrew Zwicker known as the “Uniform Partition of Heirs Property Act” that would establish new requirements concerning partition actions to more strongly protect the interests of cotenant property owners who may object to the action of another owner.
